Simple OneS Electric Scooter Launched AT Rs 1.40 Lakh

Bengaluru based EV startup, the Simple Energy, has launched the OneS electric scooter in India, replacing the Dot One. Priced at Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom), its the brand’s most affordable offering in the country.

Let’s quickly delve into all the necessary details of the Simple OneS electric scooter –

    • Powering the OneS is electric scooter is an 8.5kW mid-mounted motor, drawing its charge from a 3.7kWh fixed-type battery pack.

    • It offers a claimed IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 181km and a top speed of 105 kmph.

    • The scooter has four riding modes: Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. In the ‘Sonic’ ride mode, the sctooer can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in a just 2.55 seconds.

 

    • The other notable features include a customizable 7-inch touchscreen instrument cluster with 5G e-SIM, Bluetooth connectivity, & Wi-Fi support, themes, navigation assist, over-the-air (OTA) updates support, remote alerts, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), regenerative braking, Park Assist, and much more.

    • Available in a total of four colour options: Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.

    • Design-wise, it looks similar to the Simple One electric scooter.

    • Currently, the Simple OneS is being offering at its 15 stores located in Pune, Bengaluru, Goa, Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Vizag, Kochi, and other cities.

    • The company has plans to expand its retail network with 150 new stores and 200 service centers across the nation by the end of March 2026.
