The highly anticipated Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 has finally made its way to the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 3.59 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making it up to Rs 21,347 more affordable than the Super Meteor 650.

  • Built on a steel tubular frame, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 is a bobber-style motorcycle.
  • It is the fourth model derived from the brand’s 650cc platform, joining the Interceptor, Continental GT, and Super Meteor 650 in the league.
  • Powered by the same 648cc, parallel-twin engine as the Super Meteor, producing 47PS and 52.3Nm.
  • It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist & slipper clutch.

  • Design-wise, the Shotgun has a retro appeal with chunky bikini fairing housing the LED headlamps, a round fuel tank, a flat & wide handlebar for upright position, chrome-finished bar-end mirrors, and a cantilever floating-seat design. Furthermore, its mid-mounted pegs and chopped fender contribute to its authentic American bobber appeal.
  • Other features include blacked-out twin pea-shooter exhausts, a single seat, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a tripper navigation pod.
  • Underpinnings comprise a 43mm big piston Showa fork with 120mm wheel travel and twin rear shock absorbers with 90mm suspension travel.
