Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 ICON Edition Sold Out In A Blink

A few days ago, Royal Enfield launched the Shotgun 650 Icon Limited Edition model, with its purchase window going live on 12th February at 8:30 PM. Within a fraction of seconds, the special editon model was sold out.

A few days ago, Royal Enfield launched the Shotgun 650 Icon Limited Edition model, with its purchase window going live on 12th February at 8:30 PM, and within seconds, the special edition model was completely sold out. It was limited to just 25 units for the Indian market, out of a total of 100 units allocated globally.

Shotgun 650 ICON Edition

Developed in collaboration with ICON Motorsports, the Shotgun 650 Limited Edition model featured a triple-tone paint scheme, inspired by the custom cafe racer built by Icon Motorsports which was showcased at 2024 EICMA. While it retains the same design as the standard model, it gets tons of other visual enhancements for a more youthful and sporty appearance. These include a red seat with the RE logo, blue rear twin shock absorbers, bar-end mirrors, and gold-coloured wheels. The brand also offers an exclusive jacket called “Slabtown Interept”, designed to match the motorcycle’s colour scheme.

Mechanically, the bikes remain unchanged. It draws its power from the same 648cc, air-oil cooled, SOHC parallel-twin engine as the regular model, making 46PS of max power and 52Nm of peak torque. It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

In terms of features, the bike continues to get an all-LED lighting system, a semi-digital instrument cluster with a tripper navigation pod, a USB charging socket, a Showa USD upfront and a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
