Compared to the other models in its portfolio, Ola Electric has taken several cost-cutting measures with the S1 X to keep its prices in check. These changes include adopting a simpler handlebar setup, introducing a physical key, and replacing the TFT screen with a 4.3-inch LCD screen. Furthermore, the electric mobility promotion scheme has contributed to reducing the ex-showroom prices by Rs 10,000. However, it gets smartphone connectivity support through the OLA APP, cruise control, a spacious 34-litre boot space, drive modes (Eco, Normal and Sports), OTA updates support and a reverses assist function.
As mentioned above, the S1 X variants offer varying range levels. The S1 X 4kWh variant provides a claimed IDC (Indian driving conditions) range of 190km and a top speed of 90kmph. Meanwhile, the S1 X 3kWh variant boasts a claimed IDC range of 143km and the same top speed. Lastly, the most economical S1 X 2kWh variant offers a claimed IDC range of 95km, albeit with a lower claimed top speed of 85kmph.
In the electric scooter market, the S1 X competes with the Ather 450S, TVS iQube, Ampere Magnus EX and Okinawa Praise Pro.
