Latest Update: Ola Electric has introduced new battery pack variants to both the S1 and S1 Air electric scooters. Click here for details.
Ola Electric has recently launched the S1 Air e-scooter at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom), making it the most affordable offering from the EVmaker. Here’s take a closer look at what makes the Ola S1 Air different from its older siblings, the S1 and S1 Pro.
Design-wise, all three variants of the Ola S1 lineup look identical, except for the flat floorboard, tubular metal grabrail and black-coloured panels for the lower half section of the S1 Air. On the other hand, the S1 and S1 Pro get split cast aluminium grab handles, banana-shaped floorboard and full body-coloured panels.
The Ola S1 Air and S1 are available in five colour options, whereas the range-topping variants come in as many as eleven body shades.

On the S1 Air, the single-shock front suspension from the S1 and S1 Pro has been replaced with a conventional telescopic fork upfront. The rear also receives dual-shock absorbers rather than the lateral monoshock. It also gets a drum brake setup instead of the discs seen on its elder siblings.
