Ola Electric Brings Scooter Servicing to Your Doorstep

Ola Electric has announced an initiative to ease the after-sales experience by allowing customers to buy genuine spare parts directly from the brand’s website. This move ensures that owners can easily access authentic components without relying solely on service centres or third-party sellers. It’s a step towards building more trust and ease of ownership for Ola scooter users.

Besides this, Ola Electric is also offering a training course, diagnostic tools and manuals to local mechanics to work on the brand’s electric scooters. This also aims to ease burden on Ola’s service centres, which have been flooded with service requests in recent months.

As of now, Ola Electric is offering the following spare parts on its official website. Here’s a detailed breakdown with their prices: –

Genuine Spare PartsPrice
Side Stand (Gen 1/2/3)Rs 445
Brake Switch – Left Hand (Gen 1/2)Rs 253
Brake Switch – Right Hand (Gen 1/2)
Front Wheel Hub Bearing 6004 (Gen 1)Rs 130
Front Wheel Hub Bearing 6005 (Gen 1)Rs 191
Front Brake Calliper Pad KitRs 640
Rear Brake Calliper Pad KitRs 614
Powertrain Drive Belt (Gen 2)Rs 2,942
HornRs 134

As revealed by the above-table, Ola seems to be sticking to basic mechnical parts, with nothing related to the battery and motor, save for the powertrain drive belt. We believe it is a sensible move as it keeps things simple for users while ensuring that sensitive electric components are handled only by experts.

However, Ola has assured that the range of spare parts listed online will continue to grow over time. It would be ideal if this expansion comes with dedicated training support or instructional content, empowering users to manage regular upkeep independently. This could ease service load, improve accessibility and enhance overall user satisfaction.
