Now You Won't Get Tata Nexon EV With This Colour Option

Tata Motors has axed the Moonlight Silver shade from Nexon EV's colour lineup. With this, the electrified SUV is now available in three paint options: Glacier White, Signature Teal Blue, and Midnight Black (Dark Edition). Earlier, the homegrown maker has also discontinued the Pure Silver color scheme of the ICE-powered Nexon.

Apart from the discontinuation of the aforementioned hue, the rest of the EV remains unchanged.

The Tata Nexon EV is India's best-selling electric car, with a market share of over 60 percent. Its huge success can be attributed to its value-for-money (VFM) quotient. A 129PS permanent magnet synchronous motor propels the Nexon EV that draws its charge from a 30.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack and offers an ARAI-claimed range of 312km. However, going by the customer’s feedback, its real-world range is around 200 kilometers.

Currently, Tata offers the Nexon EV in three variants – XM, XZ+, and XZ+ LUX, which are priced from Rs 14.24 lakh to Rs 16.85 lakh (ex-showroom). Soon it could receive a new battery pack with an extended range of over 400km.
