Now You Can Charge Your EV At Any IHCL-owned Hotel & Properties

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality brand, in collaboration with Tata Power, has installed 224 EV charging stations at 92 of its hotels & properties across the country. This move was a part of IHCL’s Paathya framework, which is focused on driving sustainability and social impact measures.

As per the brand, these EV charging stations are present across various Vivanta, Ginger, Taj, SeleQtions, and amã Stays & Trails properties across the nation. The goal of this initiative is to improve accessibility and encourage electric vehicle use at their venues.

Speaking about this initiative, Gaurav Pokhariyal, Executive Vice President – Human Resource, IHCL, stated, “At IHCL, sustainability is at the core of all that we do. The installation of the EV charging points is in line with our focus on Environmental Stewardship, which is one of the key pillars of Paathya. Today, we are seeing a major paradigm shift across the globe as an increasing number of people are gravitating towards alternative or less energy-intensive options of transport. At IHCL, we will continue our endeavour to embrace green sources of energy while making sustainability measures easily accessible for our customers.”
