Engine

Unlike the Hi-Lander’s 163PS 1.9-litre diesel engine, the new Isuzu D-Max S-Cab Z gets a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, CRDI diesel unit (78PS/176Nm) that comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and 4×2 drivetrain.

Expect a more rich Hi-Lander in the near future

Considering the budget-friendly S-Cab Z exceeds the pricier Hi-Lander in terms of features, it is anticipated that Isuzu will enhance and update it in the near future to provide an even more compelling value proposition.

In the lifestyle pickup segment, the Isuzu D-Max Hi-Lander and V-Cross can be seen as affordable alternatives to the Toyota Hilux (Rs 30.40 – 37.90 lakh).
