Takeaways: –

  • The performance figures of the MG Astor are quite a par with its Korean rivals. However, its mileage figures are the least here.

  • Thanks to the Active Cylinder Technology, the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engines of the German siblings are the most frugal mills despite being the most powerful among all. However, their 1.0-litre TSI units are thirstier with automatic transmission than their manual counterpart.

  • The next on the list is Kia and Hyundai’s shared powertrain options, with all of them promising to deliver between 16.5kmpl to 16.9kmpl.

  • The Kicks-Duster duo is the third least fuel-efficient SUV here with the torquiest turbocharged petrol engine.

Note: – It is worth noting that these figures are based on internal testing in various conditions and they might vary with the traffic conditions and your driving behaviour.
