Expanding its Maybach range in the country, the Mercedes Benz India has launched the ultra-luxury new Maybach S-Class Limousine, with prices ranging from Rs 2.5 crores to Rs 3.2 crores (ex-showroom). It blends stunning design, the most delinquent technology, and a mild-hybrid powertrain making it an utmost form of transportation to be chauffeured around like a boss.
Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Limousine – Variant and Dimensions
Available in two S580 and S680 4Matic variants, the Maybach S-Class Limousine measures 5,469mm in length, 1,921mm in width, 1,510mm in height, and sits on a wheelbase of 3,396mm, making it 180mm longer than the long-wheelbase S-Class.
Mercedes-Maybach S680 has already been sold till 2023.

Exterior
The Maybach S-Class Limousine gets a typical Mayback cultured styling, featuring the signature pin-striped grille and restyled front bumper with heavy chrome detailing around the air dam, which lends it a superior pizzazz as compared to the standard model. It wears hand-painted dual-tone color with as many as 10 combinations and a distinctive set of huge 19-inch ceramic finished alloy wheels. One can also notice the Maybach badge on the C-pillar, chrome window surrounds, a strip of chrome on the lower side of the doors emphasizes its length.

Interior
Inside, this epitome of luxury will overwhelm you with its hi-tech materials and fine craftsmanship. It gets Maybach exclusive Nappa leather upholstery with high-rise floor mats and Dinamica roof liner. Mercedes offers the Maybach S-Class with as many as five displays, including a 12.8-inch central console unit, a 12.3-inch 3D driver’s cluster, two 11.6-inch rear entertainment displays, and a 7.0-inch Android tablet on the rear armrest, all featuring OLED and second-gen MBUX technology.
Since the Maybach’s wheelbase is 180mm longer than the standard S-Class, you get more room inside the cabin, especially at the rear. Enriching your comfort more at the back, you also get automatically closing doors and automatically adjustable headrests. Further, opting for the chauffeur package will let you adjust the seat surface and backrest independently. Also, these powered rear seats are reclinable up to 43.5-degrees. In addition, one can also control the sunroof and rear blinds with hand gestures.

Mercedes-Maybach S-Class Limousine – Powertrain
Powering the all-new Mercedes-Mayback S 580 4MATIC is a 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine paired with an integrated starter-generator and a 48V electrical system, churning out a maximum power output of 503PS at 5,000 rpm and a peak torque of 700Nm between 2,000 – 4,500 rpm. The power is transferred to all four wheels via a 9-speed TRONIC automatic transmission, enabling the saloon to sprint 100kmph from standstill in merely 4.8 seconds before attaining a top speed of 250kmph.
On the other hand, the S680 gets the familiar V12 6.0-liter engine combined with a 4MATIC all-wheel-drivetrain and a 9G-Tronic 9-speed automatic transmission, making a maximum power of 612PS and a peak torque of 900Nm. It can complete the century sprint in just 4.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph.
