Maruti Suzuki Victoris: All Variants Explained

The Maruti Suzuki Victoris has been revealed as the carmaker’s flagship Arena SUV, positioned against the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Skoda Kushaq. While its launch will take place in the coming weeks, its bookings have now been opened for a token amount of Rs 11,000. So, if you’re planning to buy a new car, here’s a detailed breakdown of what all variants of the new Victoris bring to the table: –

1. Maruti Suzuki Victoris LXi

Powertrain Options– 1.5-litre petrol with 5-speed manual (2WD)
– 1.5-litre petrol+CNG with 5-speed manual

Key Features: –

  • Exterior: Halogen projector headlamps, LED rear combination lamp, steel wheels with full-size covers, faux skid plates, turn indicators on side mirrors, roof spoiler, rear defogger, and sharkfin antenna.
  • Interior: Dual-tone black-and-ivory cabin theme, black fabric seats, and an analogue instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch TFT.
  • Comfort & Convenience: Adjustable headrests for all seats, 60:40 folding rear seats, tilt & telescopic adjustments for steering wheel, push button start/stop with smart key, automatic AC, rear AC vents, front sliding armrest with storage, rear centre armrest with cup holders, type A charging socket in front, steering mounted controls, and day/night IRVM.
  • Infotainment: 7-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, OTA updates support and 2 speakers.
  • Safety: Six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, traction control, engine drag control, hill hold assist, front seat height adjuster, front seat belt pre-tensioner with force limiter, 3-point seat belts for all, seat belt reminder, ISOFIX child seat anchors, and tyre repair kit.

2. Maruti Suzuki Victoris VXi

Powertrain Options– 1.5-litre petrol with 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic (2WD)

– 1.5-litre petrol+CNG with 5-speed manual

– 1.5-litre petrol + strong hybrid system with an e-CVT automatic transmission

Key Features (over VXi): –

  • Exterior: Dynamic connected LED tail lamps and body-coloured door handles & side mirrors.
  • Interior: Chrome finish on door handles, vanity mirrors, glovebox light, front footwell lighting, boot lamp, and 10.25-inch TFT cluster (Hybrid variant).
  • Comfort & Convenience: Height-adjustable driver seat, front seatback pockets, two 45W type-C USB charging ports in rear, accessory socket in boot, PM 2.5 air filter, electrically foldable side mirrors, cruise control, and paddle shifters (automatic only).
  • Infotainment: Connected car tech and front tweeters.
  • Safety: Electronic parking brake with auto-hold (AT only), reversing parking camera, and tyre pressure monitoring system.

3. Maruti Suzuki Victoris ZXi/ZXi (O)

Powertrain Options– 1.5-litre petrol with 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic (2WD)

– 1.5-litre petrol+CNG with 5-speed manual [not available with ZXi (O)]

– 1.5-litre petrol + strong hybrid system with an e-CVT automatic transmission

3. Maruti Suzuki Victoris ZXi+/ZXi+ (O)

Powertrain Options– 1.5-litre petrol with 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic (2WD)

– 1.5-litre petrol with 6-speed torque converter automatic (AllGrip Select AWD)

– 1.5-litre petrol + strong hybrid system with an e-CVT automatic transmission

Key Features (over ZXi): –

  • Exterior: Machined-cut dual-tone alloy wheels.
  • Interior: Leatherette steering wheel, 64-colour ambient lighting, and courtesy Lamp (Hybrid only).
