Maruti Suzuki Unveils eVX Electric SUV Concept At Auto Expo 2023

  • The eVX is a five-seater electric SUV.
  • We expect a production vehicle will be derived from this concept model in the future.
  • With eVX, Maruti Suzuki previews its future utility vehicle design approach.

Maruti Suuzki has unveiled the eVX electric coupe concept at Auto Expo 2023. It could be the brand’s first dedicated BEV that is likely to be launched sometime in the future (not before 2025).

Designed in-house by Maruti Suzuki, the eVX previews the design approach for its future utility vehicles. It features sharp cuts & creases all over. In addition to its sporty styling and aerodynamic shape, it is ruggedly built with angular details and cladding. It offers a futuristic design with a longer wheelbase and shorter overhang to convey design athleticism and robustness, along with unmatched cabin roominess
and comfort. Speaking of the size, it is 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,600mm tall.

The Maruti Suzuki eVX is based on a dedicated electric vehicle platform that will underpin the future electric vehicles from Maruti Suzuki. This platform is also compatible with dual-motor 4×4 drivetrain capabilities.
