Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Variants Rejigged

  • 6 variants of the S-Presso have been discontinued.
  • The STD (O) is the new base variant of the Maruti S-Presso.
  • It now ranges between Rs 3.99 lakh to Rs 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki has revised the variant lineup of the S-Presso by discontinuing six variants of the tiny rugged-looking hatchback. That said, the car will no longer be available in Std, LXI, LXI CNG, VXI, VXI AMT, and VXI CNG trims. Here’s a look at the updated variant lineup of the Maruti S-Presso with their prices: –

Maruti S-Presso Updated Variant Lineup with Prices (July 2022)

Aside from the variant rejig, the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso remains unchanged. It will continue to be powered by the same 68PS/90Nm 1.0-liter petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. The base-spec LXI (O) and second from the base VXI (O) trims also comes with an optional CNG kit that makes 59PS and 78Nm.

In terms of features, the S-Presso comes equppied with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, keyless entry, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors.

In the Indian market, the S-Presso goes up against the Renault Kwid.
