Maruti Suzuki Introduced Subscription Basis Ownership Plan In Pune And Hyderabad

About a couple of months back, prominent Indian auto manufacturer Maruti Suzuki had introduced a subscription-based ownership plan for its selected offerings. The scheme back then was limited to Bengaluru and Gurugram only. In recent developments, Maruti has teamed up with Myles Automotive Technology to run the program on a pilot basis in Pune and Hyderabad as well.

The cars which are covered under this lease service are Swift, Dzire, Vitara Brezza, XL6, Baleno, and Ciaz. What could be noticed is a uniform distribution among the most popular products across the ARENA and the NEXA platforms.

Time Period and added advantages

For the cities of Bengaluru and Gurugram, this model was available for time period options of 24, 36 or 48 months but in Pune and Hyderabad, the company offers a lot more flexibility with a subscription period of 12, 18, 24, 30, 36, 42 and 48 months.

The important thing to note about the subscription plan is the fact that it is an all-inclusive package that includes complete car maintenance, insurance, 24X7 roadside assistance, and no-down-payment to be paid at the time of purchase of subscription plan.

Maruti is not the first to offer such service in India

Maruti has followed the example of its prime rival Hyundai motors who launched a similar subscription model last year in association with Revv. This plan was launched for six cities across India.
