Maruti Suzuki eVitara Features and Colour Options Revealed

Unveiled at the 2025 Auto Expo, the Maruti Suzuki eVitara is all set to be launched in March 2025. However, ahead of its launch, the carmaker has revealed key features and colour options of the upcoming electric SUV. Here are the details: –

The Maruti eVitara will be offered in ten colour options – six monotone and four dual-tone.

Maruti Suzuki eVitara Battery, Charging Time

Based on a skateboard platform co-developed with Toyota, the Maruti eVitara will be offered with two LFP (Lithium Iron-phosphate) battery pack options: 49kWh and 61kWh. These batteries use ‘blade’ cells from BYD and will offer a range of over 500 kilometres on a single charge.

Both the battery packs will energise a front axle-mounted motor producing 143PS/192.5Nm and 173PS/192.5Nm of power output, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki has also announced the “e for Me” strategy under which the brand will install fast chargers at its dealerships in the top 100 cities, offer a dedicated charging app, and establish over 1500 EV-specific service centres across 1000+ cities.

Maruti eVitara: Expected Price and Rivals

Maruti is expected to price the eVitara between Rs 16 lakh and Rs 24 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it against the Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6.
