Maruti Suzuki eVitara Alpha Variant Price Out Ahead of Launch

It’s been over a year since the Maruti Suzuki eVitara debuted in the Indian market. However, its prices have yet to be officially announced. But ahead of that, the price of its top-spec Alpha variant popped up on the official Nexa websites, with bookings already being accepted unofficially at select dealerships across the country.

As mentioned above, the Nexa websites and select dealerships have listed the eVitara Alpha variant at Rs 24.79 lakh (ex-showroom). And going by the prices, it seems like the top-spec 61 kWh version, which claims a range of 543 km. However, prices of other variants, including the 49 kWH trims, are still unknown. Also, it is worth noting that Maruti Suzuki still hasn’t made any official announcement regarding its launch timeline for the Indian market.

Maruti Suzuki eVitara Alpha 61kWh price

If Maruti Suzuki prices the eVitara Alpha 61 kWh at the given price point, it will be roughly Rs 9,000 more expensive than its closest rival, the Hyundai Creta Electric. However, we believe it will be priced significantly lower than the leaked price tag to gain the buyers’ attention. Also, it is worth noting that the eVitara will also be offered with Battery As A Service (BaaS) program, which will decrease the overall upfront cost.

About Maruti Suzuki eVitara

For those unaware, the Maruti Suzuki eVitara is the brand’s first all-electric model for the Indian market that is based on a dedicated born-electric platform called “eHeartect”, which the brand has co-developed with Toyota. The EV will be offered with two battery packs: 49 kWh and 61 kWh, with a WLTP-claimed range of 344km and 543km, respectively. Here’s a look at their specifications: –
