Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select Variant Launched At Rs 16.89 Lakh

Mahindra has announced an exciting addition to its XUV700 lineup with the launch of a new mid-spec AX5 Select (AX5 S) variant, priced at Rs 16.89 lakh for petrol-MT and Rs 17.49 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom) for diesel-MT version. Mahindra has also boosted its production capacity to decrease waiting periods on its SUVs.

The Mahindra XUV700 AX5 Select (AX5 S) trim is only offered in the 7-seater configuration. It offers a striking balance between affordability and advanced features, catering to a wider section of customers. Having said that, this new trim comes equipped with a panoramic sunroof, full-sized wheel covers, engine start/stop button, dual 10.25-inch connected display setup with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, AdrenoX connected car technology, Amazon Alexa support, follow-me-home headlamps, rear AC vents, cruise control, powered side mirrors, rear wiper, LED DRLs, and LED taillamps.

The Mahindra XUV700 in the AX5 Select (AX5 S) variant is offered with a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine (200PS/300Nm) and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel (155PS/360Nm) engine, both mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission that drives the front wheels of the SUV. This new variant misses out on the all-wheel-drivetrain choice offered in higher-spec trims.

This new special edition is designed for those looking a vehicle that can stands out in the crowd. The carmaker has also recently launched the facelifted XUV300, now cherished as XUV 3XO.
