Mahindra XUV300 to gets new alloy wheels

Revealed by a leaked document, the Mahindra XUV300 will soon receive a new set of alloy wheels. However, their size has been downsized to 16-inch from the existing 17-inch. The top-spec W8 (O) trim will get diamond-cut finished alloys, while the W8 variant will come with silver alloys. Both will be wrapped in 205/65 section tyres. Besides, the entry and mid-level W4 and W6 variants will continue to get 16-inch steel wheels.

Besides, no other changes are expected as of now. The sub-4-meter SUV will continue to get the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (110PS/200Nm) and 1.5-liter diesel engines (117PS/300Nm) as the ongoing model. Both can be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional AMT unit. However, it will receive a new 130PS 1.2-liter direct-injection (DI) turbo-petrol engine in near future.
Features onboard include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, rain-sensing wipers, auto AC, electric sunroof, cruise control, leather upholstery, multiple airbags, corner braking control, front & rear parking sensors, and much more.
Mahindra retails the XUV300 between Rs 7.95 lakh and 13.46 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), pitting it against the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger, Honda WR-V, and soon-to-be-updated Maruti Vitara Brezza and Toyota Urban Cruiser.
