Mahindra XUV 3XO Sees Strong Demand with 20,000 Monthly Bookings

Back in April this year, Mahindra launched the XUV 3XO, essentially the facelift version of the XUV300, with prices starting at Rs 7.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, reports suggest that the upgraded sub-4m SUV is receiving an average of 20,000 new bookings per month as of July 2024. Despite this strong demand, the company still has around 55,000 units pending delivery, as noted during this period.

The XUV 3XO has become an instant hit due to its competitive pricing, robust features, and superior performance. The brand offers it in three engine options – 1.2L MPFi turbo-petrol, 1.2L TGDi turbo-petrol and 1.5L diesel. Here’s a look at their specifications: –

Regarding features, the XUV 3XO comes loaded with equipment like 10.25-inch AdrenoX-powered infotainment with connected car tech, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, digital driver’s display, dual-zone AC, Harmon Kardon sound system, panoramic sunroof, USB C-type charging ports, cooled glovebox, multiple driving modes (Zip, Zap, Zoom) among others.

For passenger safety, it has six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, front & rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera with blind-view monitoring, and a Level-2 ADAS suite.

In other news, Mahindra has recently launched the 5-door version of the Thar called the Thar Roxx. Looking forward, the company is preparing for a significant expansion into the electric vehicle (EV) market. This will begin with the launch of the XUV.e8, an EV based on the XUV700 platform, expected by the end of the year. The XUV.e8 will be followed by other electric SUVs like the XUV.e9, XUV 3XO EV, BE.05, and more, signalling Mahindra’s major push into the EV segment.
