2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx Interior and Features Teased; Launch Soon

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is all set to be launched on August 15, 2024. Being a 5-door version of the Thar off-roader, the Thar Roxx will cater to those seeking the rugged appearance of the Thar combined with sophistication and comfort inside. The latest teaser of the SUV also reveals the same.

2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx – Interior and Features

  • The Mahindra Thar ROXX features beige-coloured seats and a beige roof liner for an upscale look, though these may be challenging to maintain off-road.
  • The black dashboard has a soft-touch finish with copper-coloured stitching, adding to the cabin’s premium feel.
  • The teaser also confirms a 10.25-inch AdrenoX powered touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display from other Mahindra models.
  • The SUV will also be equipped with a panoramic sunroof, a premium Harman Kardon audio system, single-zone automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats. While it’s not official, earlier spy shots confirm a single-pane electric sunroof for lower/mid-spec variants.

2024 Mahindra Thar Roxx – Other Expected Features

We expect the Thar Roxx should also be loaded with features like automatic LED headlamps, a wireless smartphone charger, keyless entry, cruise control, rear centre armrest, a 360-degree camera, six airbags, a hill assist, front & rear parking sensors, and a Level-2 ADAS suite.

Powertrain

Propulsion duties on the new Mahindra Thar Roxx are expected to be carried out by the same 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and 2-litre turbo-petrol engine from its 3-door counterpart, albeit in a higher state of tune. Transmission options will comprise both manual and torque converter automatic units. Both rear-wheel-drive and 4-wheel-drivetrain options are likely to be offered.

Rivals

Upon launch, the Thar Roxx will lock horns with the Force Gurkha 5-door. It will also serve as a premium alternative to the Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
