Mahindra defines four easy steps for easy ownership as:-

  1. Explore and personalize
  2. Get instant Exchange quotations
  3. Choose finance and insurance
  4. Payment and doorstep delivery

Vijay Nakra, CEO- Automotive division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said after the launch of Own-Online 'Today we are delighted to launch 'Own-Online' platform, India's most complete end-to-end, online car ownership solution. Its easy & convenient 4-step journey allows the customer to own a Mahindra vehicle in less time than it takes to get a pizza delivered!

'With our pre and post-purchase online solutions already in place, reimagining the car purchase experience was a logical next step for us. In recent times, online has been a preferred purchase channel across categories and going forward, the online purchase of vehicles is set to gain more traction. We are ready to lead this change in automotive retail by providing many industry-first experiences to our customers'

What exactly is Own-Online?

It is a one-stop interface that will assist all of Mahindra's customers with pre-ownership and purchase phase of the vehicle, it will offer the customers with the convenience of a contactless process that will take care of everything right from vehicle selection to delivery.

Mahindra has made sure that they cover all those customers who will be exchanging their old cars, the online platform will provide the customers with a real-time quotation that will facilitate an easy and transparent exchange procedure.

The own-online interface further consists of platforms like SYouV, it is supposed to assist the customers with a convenient procedure of selecting a vehicle and platform named With You Hamesha will help the customers with the options of availing post buying facilities like online booking of service, viewing online history and receiving service invoices.

Automobile manufacturers have certainly started acknowledging the fact that post-COVID phase will not be anything similar to our normal lives, we will have to learn to live with COVID, which means many changes are bound to happen.
