In a recent financial result meeting, Mahindra disclosed that its order book stands closer to 2.26 orders pending delivery, which includes famous models, including the XUV700 and Scorpio range.
As per the carmaker, the Mahindra Scorpio Classis and Scorpio N have 1,0,1,000 pending orders, while approximately 70,000 Thar customers await their deliveries. For the Mahindra XUV700, the pending orders are around 35,000, and for the Bolero and Bolero Neo, they are 10,000. On the other hand, roughly 8,800 orders are pending for the XUV300 and XUV400 EV.
The substantial number of pending orders has led to extended waiting periods. Although Mahindra has not provided an official explanation for these high pending numbers, it’s likely attributed to factors such as production and supply chain constraints.
In other news, Mahindra is gearing up to launch the facelift XUV300 next month. It is expected to boast an upgraded design both inside and out, along with a bunch of new features. Click here for more details.
