KTM And Husqvarna Bikes Become Pricier By Up To Rs 8.5K

It's a general practice that the brands hike the prices of their products in the new year. But ahead of 2021, Austrian motorcycles manufacturer, Husqvarna & its parent company KTM have increased the prices of almost all their motorcycles available in the Indian market, except for the RC 200, 250 Adventure, and recently updated 125 Duke. The brand hasn't revealed the reason for the rise in prices.

  • The prices of these selected KTM models have been raised in the range of Rs 1,279 to Rs 8,517, whereas Husqvarna has increased the prices uniformly by Rs 1,790 only.
  • The 390 Duke is the most affected by the price hike as its base cost has shot up by Rs 8,517, whereas the RC 125 has gained the least bump of Rs 1,279 in its ex-showroom tag. 
  • The recently launched models: 250 ADV and the new 125 Duke were introduced at introductory prices; hence, their cost will be increased in the near future. 
  • The prices are expected to increase further in early 2021. However, the brand hasn't made any announcement regarding this.
