Kinetic Green E-Luna Pre-Bookings Open

Last year, we reported that the iconic Kinetic Luna would be reintroduced in an all-electric avatar. Now, Kinetic Green has officially started accepting pre-launch bookings for the electric Luna, called e-Luna. Interested customers can reserve one online for just Rs 500. It is slated to be launched in early February 2024.

The Kinetic e-Luna is anticipated to concentrate on its high load-carrying capacity to cater to the B-to-B segment, making it a doable alternative for last-mile mobility solutions.

Design-wise, the electric moped maintains a simple and practical design reminiscent of the original Luna. It features a round halogen headlamp housed inside a square nacelle, complemented by bulb-type indicators. It also gets a small blacked-out flyscreen for added appeal. Besides, there’s also a leg guard for added protection.

While its side and rear design is yet to be seen, it is anticipated to feature a wide, flat floorboard that should accommodate the battery underneath.

The technical details of the Kinetic e-Luna are scarce at the moment; we expect that it will offer a top speed of around 45 mph with a range of roughly 80 kilometres on a single charge.

We expect Kinetic Green to price the new e-Luna from around Rs 70,000 (ex-showroom), offering it as an alternative to the Yulu Miracle and DeX range.
