Kia Syros Dimensions Leaked Ahead of Launch

Kia India is all set to unveil the Syros SUV on December 19, while its launch will take place in January 2025. But ahead of its official debut, the dimensions of the upcoming model have been leaked on the web.

Kia Syros Dimensions

According to leaked details, the Kia Syros will be 3995mm long, 1800mm wide, and 1665mm tall. Its wheelbase will be 2550mm, while the boot space will measure 465 litres. Compared to the Kia Sonet, it is 10mm wider and 55mm tall. The Syros also offers 73 litres more boot space. All these details suggest that it will emphasize the cabin space and ensure high practicality.

In the Kia’s lineup, the Syros will be positioned between the Sonet and Seltos.

In terms of design, the Kia Syros will feature a boxy silhouette, a flat roof, and upright profiles. Design elements like the 3-pod LED headlights with vertical DRLs and large window panels appear to draw inspiration from the recently launched Kia EV9 and Carnival Limousine.

When it comes to features, it will be kitted with amenities like flush-fitting door handles, diamond-cut alloys, a panoramic sunroof, ventilation function for both 1st and 2nd-row seats along with recline function, dual 12.3-inch connected displays, Harmon Kardon sound system, powered driver’s seat, inbuilt air purifier, 360-degree camera, front & rear parking sensors, and level-2 ADAS.

Underneath the hood, the Syros is expected to be equipped with Sonet’s 1-litre turbocharged petrol and 1.5-litre diesel mills. Transmission options could include 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed torque converter automatic units.

Kia India aims to position the Syros as a distinctive entry in the crowded compact SUV market, so it won’t have any direct competitors in the market. Expect Kia to price it from around Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom).
