The new sub-4m SUV gets a signature tiger-nose grille like other Kia models. However, it sports a stepwell inspired pattern on the grille. The tiger-nose design can also be seen on the upper part of the windscreen. The headlamps units are LEDs. It also features integrated canines (Vampire's teeth) inspired LED DRLs which adds the complementary touch to the aggressively designed bumpers.

It gets 16-inch machine-cut alloy wheels, which are quite similar to Hyundai Venue. The side profile is very fine and impressive. It gets heavy cladding on a flared wheel arch which grants it a SUVish feel.

Other notable on the exterior includes roof rails, sharkfin antenna, and black color finished roof & ORVM.

At the rear, it highlights LED taillamps, connected by a reflector strip. Like the front bumper, the rear too gets silver finishing. It also sports fake faux exhaust tips on each side of the rear bumper.

For added sportiness, the GT line variants get additional red color highlights on both the bumpers, alloys, front brake calipers, side strip, and front grille with GT line badging
