Kia Seltos Gets Discounts of Up To Rs 1.6 Lakh

Kia has recently unveiled the new-generation Seltos in India, which will go on sale on January 2, 2026. However, if this doesn’t bother you and you’re comfortable opting for the outgoing mode, Kia is offering massive discounts of up to Rs 1.60 lakh on the outgoing Seltos, with scope for further negotiation, as dealers will be in a hurry to clear their existing inventory before the new year.

  • Ex-showroom prices range between Rs 10.79 lakh to Rs 19.81 lakh.
  • It comes with the same set of engine and transmission options as the new-gen model.
  • Discounts on the outgoing Kia Seltos are subject to stock availability.

Kia Seltos Old vs New: Key Differences Explained

The new Seltos gets a host of changes over its predecessor in terms of design, underpinnings and features.

Platform and Dimensions

To start with, the new-gen Seltos is based on the new K3 platform, which is claimed to be more rigid than before and enables better space inside the cabin. Having said that, the new-gen model is 95mm longer, 30mm wider and has an 80mm longer wheelbase than the outgoing model. The boot space has also been increased by 13 litres.

Exterior Design

Speaking of the design, the SUV now gets a massive rectangular grille, with a mesh-like pattern and sharper-looking LED projector headlamps with three-cube elements. The headlamp setup is nearly integrated into the grille. Furthermore, there are the vertically oriented LED DRLs that are reminiscent of the Syros. The bumper has also been redesigned for a muscular appeal and is done in a gloss black finish.

Thanks to the bold character lines and flush-fitting door handles, the new Seltos looks clearer from the sides than the outgoing model. It also gets new 18-inch dual-tone alloys, black window outline and thick gloss black cladding, making the things more classy.

Towards the rear, the 2026 Seltos gets new L-shaped LED tail lamps that extend to the middle of the tailgate, giving it a connected feel. Furthermore, the hexagonal tailgate, hidden rear wiper, and gloss black finish on the roof spoiler and bumper add to its elegant appeal.

Interior and New Features

Inside, its new dashboard layout will remind you of the Syros. The dash looks neat and layered, with slim AC vents sitting tucked under the dashboard line. The climate control and media controls use physical buttons.

The other notable additions include triple-screen setup (including a 5-inch climate control display), three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel from Kia EV6, 10-way powered driver seat with lumbar support and memory function, relaxation power driver seat, auto-reverse side mirrors, 64-colour ambient lighting, side parking sensors, parking assistance, improved connected car suite and updated level-2 ADAS suite with more active safety features.
