Kia Records 18.3% YoY Sales Growth In April 2025; 23,623 Units Sold

Kia India has recorded 18.2% year-on-year growth in April 2025, continuing its strong performance in the Indian market. The Korean carmaker sold 23,623 units last month, a significant rise from the 19,968 units sold in April 2024.

As per the brand, the Sonet led Kia’s sales last month, with 8,068 units, followed by the Seltos at 6,135 units. The Carens is positioned at third with 5,259 units, while the newly launched Syros secured 4,000 units. On the other hand, the premium MPV Carnival Limousine attracted 161 unit buyers.

In calendar year 2025, Kia India witnessed a remarkable 16.2% year-on-year growth, fueled by the strong customer response to the successful launch of the Syros.

Commenting on the company’s performance, Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, Sr. VP and Head of Sales and Marketing, said, “We are pleased by the strong start to CY’25, underscored by the enduring success of the Sonet and the positive market response for the new Syros. This performance reaffirms the growing trust our customers place in Kia’s product excellence and brand promise. As we look ahead, our unwavering focus remains on delivering progressive, customer-centric mobility solutions that resonate with evolving aspirations”.

In other news, Kia India is gearing up to launch the facelifted Carens on May 8, 2025. Named as ” Kia Clavis”, the new MPV will be sold alongside the existing Carens and will serve as a premium alternative to the vehicle it will be based on, offering a few styling differences and added features.
