Kia Carens Clavis 6 Seater Now More Affordable With Launch of A New Variant

Kia India has made the 6-seater variants of the Carens Clavis much more affordable by offering this seating configuration from the mid-spec HTK+ variant, priced from Rs 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom). Earlier, the 6-seater iteration of the Carens Clavis was provided only in the top-spec HTX+ variant. Aside from this, Kia has also introduced a new higher-end HTX (O) variant.

As mentioned above, the Kia Carens Clavis with captain seats in the middle row was earlier limited to the HTX+ variant, which came exclusively with a turbo-petrol engine. Now, Kia has expanded the lineup to include the HTK Plus, HTK Plus (O), and HTX (O) variants with the 6-seater layout. What’s even better is that the HTK Plus 6-seater can now be had with a diesel engine, giving diesel buyers more flexibility and choice.

New HTX (O) Variant Introduced

Apart from increasing the 6-seater options, Kia has also launched a new HTX (O) variant at Rs 19.27 lakh (ex-showroom). It is positioned between the HTX and HTX Plus variants, and is only offered with the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Kia has loaded the new HTK (O) variant of the Carens Clavis with amenities like dual 12.25-inch connected displays, automatic AC, rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting, an 8-speaker BOSE sound system (earlier limited to HTX Plus), remote engine start (earlier limited to HTX Plus), a wireless charger, and a 360-degree camera.

Passengers’ safety is ensured by six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system and front & rear parking sensors.
