Italian VLF Mobster 135 Scooter Launched At Rs 1.30 Lakh

Kolhapur-based MotoHaus has brought another VLF (short for Velocifero) scooter in India, the Mobster 135, joining the VLF Tennis electric scooter in the lineup. It has been priced at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 2,500 units. Currently, MotoHaus has a network of 12 dealerships across India, with plans to open ten more in the near future.

For those unaware, VLF is an Italian-origin brand that manufactures its products in China. Bookings for the VLF Mobster 135 are now open for Rs 999, and deliveries will commence in November 2025.

  • The VLF Mobster is a sporty scooter designed for young buyers seeking a unique ride that stands out in the crowded scooter segment.
  • Taking inspiration from Italjet, it sports a sleek yet rugged design, featuring an aerodynamic apron with a dual split headlamp setup having integrated LED DRLs. It also gets a medium-sized windscreen, protectors for both levers, and a split taillight setup. Furthermore, the sculpted side panels add a muscular character. Overall, it is a bold blend of sportiness and Italian flair.
  • A 5-inch digital instrument cluster integrated with the handlebars adds a tech-forward touch.
  • Ergonomically, the Mobster offers a low seat height and slightly forward-leaning posture.
  • It is available in four colours: Neon Venom, Crimson Override, Ghostlight, and Ash Circuit.

VLF Mobster 135: Underpinnings

The Mobster 135 comes equipped with a telescopic fork and twin gas-charged rear shock absorbers, while anchoring duties are handled by a 230mm front disc and 220mm rear disc. It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 120/70 front and 130/70 rear section tyres.

The scooter has a kerb weight of 122kg, a seat height of 797mm, a generous 8-litre fuel tank, and a ground clearance of 155mm.

In terms of features, the Mobster 135 gets a 5.0-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, a mileage indicator, illuminated switchgear, keyless ignition, a small glovebox on the apron, switchable dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control.

Engine Details

Powering the Mobster 135 is a 125cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 12.1PS at 8250rpm and 11.7Nm of peak torque at 6500rpm. It has a top speed of 100 kmph and claims a fuel efficiency of 46 kmpl.

Going by its pricing, the Mobster is placed in the same realm as the Yamaha Aerox 155 and Hero Xoom 160.
