In a major step towards promoting inclusive governance and social empowerment, Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF) — the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) — has inaugurated the Adhikaar Connect Kendra in Gurugram under its flagship Project Adhikaar. This initiative is aimed at bridging the gap between citizens and their access to welfare schemes by offering personalized support for availing government entitlements.
The newly inaugurated centre will serve as a digital access and facilitation hub, helping citizens claim their rightful benefits under various central and state social welfare and security schemes. Over the next three years, the Adhikaar Connect Kendra is expected to unlock benefits worth ₹200 crore, reaching those who often fall through the cracks due to a lack of awareness or access. It will provide end-to-end assistance such as: –
- Eligibility screening
- Documentation support
- Application filing and follow-ups
- Real-time tracking of entitlements
A unique feature of this initiative is the deployment of trained female community entrepreneurs, known as Adhikaar Sakhis, supported by male volunteers. These grassroots change agents will act as a bridge between the government and citizens, ensuring last-mile delivery of services with dignity and efficiency.

- Skill development programs
Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Puneet Anand, AVP & Vertical Head – Corporate Affairs, Corporate Communication & Social, HMIL, stated: “The Adhikaar Connect Kendra marks a pivotal step in our journey toward an equitable society. It’s about enabling self-reliance and long-term empowerment. We’re committed to unlocking ₹200 crore in rightful benefits while transforming over 90,000 lives by 2028.”
