As the above table indicates, the recently introduced SX Executive trim is only available with a manual gearbox, and that is the reason the brand has only discontinued the manual-equipped SX petrol & diesel variants.

For those who aren't aware, the SX Executive variant majorly retains all the features of SX trim except for a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, BlueLink connectivity, chrome door handles, Arkamys music system, driver rear-view monitor, burglar alarm, and voice recognition button. However, it gets steering-mounted audio controls, six speakers, automatic LED headlamps with LED DRLs, front fog lamps, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs with auto-fold function, 17-inch silver-finished alloy wheels, puddle lamps, rear disc brakes, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking sensors, and hill assist. So, you have to only invest in a rear camera and an infotainment system of your choice.

Hyundai has priced the SX Executive variants at Rs 13.18 lakh for petrol-manual and Rs 14.18 lakh for diesel-manual, making it Rs 78,000 less expensive than the discontinued SX petrol and diesel-manual trims.

Under the hood, the Creta SX Executive comes with the choice of 1.5-liter naturally-aspired petrol (115PS/144Nm) and 1.5-liter diesel (115PS/250Nm) engines. Both mills are offered with only a 6-speed manual gearbox. Other variants, including SX, also get these engines; however, the SX is now only available with CVT automatic (for petrol) and 6-speed torque converter automatic (for diesel) transmission options. Besides, Hyundai also offers the Creta with a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol unit (140PS/242Nm) with select variants, paired with a sole 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
