Hyundai Alcazar Gets A New Base Variant At Rs 15.89 Lakh

  • The Prestige Executive is the new entry-level variant of the Hyundai Alcazar.
  • Available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations.
  • Misses out some features over the Prestige trim.

Hyundai Motors India has launched the Alcazar with a new base variant called “Prestige Executive” at a starting price of Rs 15.89 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the three-row SUV is now available in seven broad trims, including Prestige, Prestige (O), Platinum, Platinum (O), Signature, and Signature (O).

The new Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive variant comes in both petrol and diesel guise and in 6- and 7-seater configurations. Here’s a look at its detailed prices: –

Alcazar Prestige ExecutiveSeating OptionPrice (ex-showroom)
Petrol (manual)7 seaterRs 15,89,400
Diesel (manual)6/7 seaterRs 16,30,300
Diesel (automatic)7 seaterRs 17,77,300

Compared to the now second-from-the-base Prestige petrol variant (7-seater), the new Prestige Executive variant is around Rs 55,000 more affordable. For this price difference, it losses out some features from the Prestige trim such as an Electrochromic mirror (ECM), anti-theft alarm, chrome door handles, and 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Instead, it gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration support. It also features 4 speakers, 2 tweeters, and a voice command function.
