Honda Rebel 500 Cruiser Motorcycle Launched In India

Honda has launched the 2025 Rebel 500 in India at Rs 5.12 lakh (ex-showroom). It is known for its distinctive retro-modern design and performance capabilities. Interested customers can make their bookings at Honda BigWing showrooms and on the website.

What Powers The Honda Rebel 500?

Powering the Honda Rebel is a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine fed by a programmed fuel injection system (PGM-FI), pumping out 46.2PS of max power at 8,500 rpm, along with a peak torque output of 43.3Nm at 6,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper clutch for lighter clutch effort and better control during downshifting.

This is the same reliable engine used in the Honda NX500, well-known for its smooth and consistent power delivery and solid performance in both city and highway conditions. According to Honda, it also gets Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI), which helps the bike deliver strong performance while keeping emissions low and fuel efficiency high, making every ride smoother and more economical.
