Honda Likely To Unveil Creta-rivaling SUV On June 6

Back in August 2021, Honda announced their plans to introduce a fresh mid-size SUV (codename 3US) in India. As per recent reports, it is slated to be unveiled on June 6, 2023. While it’s not official, the upcoming Creta-rivaling SUV is likely to be named ‘Honda Elevate’ and could go on sale in the second half of 2023.

Unofficial bookings for this upcoming Honda SUV have also begun at select dealerships for a token amount of Rs 21,000.

Honda 3US – What Do We Know About The Upcoming SUV?

  • According to reports, the upcoming SUV from Honda will have a length ranging from 4.2-4.3 meters and a wheelbase that competes with other vehicles in its segment, providing ample interior space. Furthermore, it is said to share the platform and engine options with the 5th-generation City sedan.
  • Expect it to borrow some styling cues from the new-generation Honda WR-V available for sale in Indonesia.
  • Based on the spy shots, Honda’s new SUV will possess upright proportions and rugged SUV styling. It will have chunky body cladding all around and beefy wheel arches. However, there will be plenty of chrome touches for added bling.
