  • Honda exclusively offers the Elevate with a petrol engine, whereas the Creta provides the options of both petrol and diesel engine, thus, catering to a broader range of customers with varying tastes.
  • The Elevate’s petrol mill is slightly more powerful than Creta’s. However, the torque output is on par.
  • Honda had the chance to create a unique position in the segment by introducing a fully hybrid powertrain, but it forwent due to cost considerations. However, there are plans to release an electric version, which could be available in the market by 2026.
  • Earlier, the Creta was also offered with a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine. However, it has now been discontinued. But Hyundai has plans to introduce a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine as a replacement in the near future.
