Latest Update: The Honda Activa Premium Edition has finally been launched at Rs 75,400 (ex-showroom). Click here for details.

After tons of teasers, Honda 2 Wheelers India has finally revealed its upcoming special edition variant of the Activa 6G called “Activa Premium” through an official image. It is expected to be launched in the coming days.

Honda Activa Premium Edition – What’s Special?

As the name suggests, the Activa Premium Edition gets a host of cosmetic enhancements over the regular model. For starters, it gets gold-finished embellishments on the faux air vents on the front apron and on the badging as well. It also features gold-colored wheels and a brown seat with a matching floorboard panel.

Are there any mechanical changes?

Well, the Japanese bikemaker hasn’t stated anything on this front. We expect it to continue to source power from the 109.5cc, fuel-injected, air-cooled motor that makes 7.79PS of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 8.79Nm of peak torque at 5,250rpm.

Expected Price

We believe the Activa Premium Edition will be slightly costlier than the regular model’s top-spec DLX variant which is currently priced at Rs 74,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). It will continue to lock horns with the likes of TVS Jupiter and Hero Maestro Edge 110.

In other news, Honda has recently launched the CB300F streetfighter in India at a starting price of Rs 2.26 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two variants: Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. Click here for more details.
