Hero Xtreme Stealth Edition 2.0 Launched At Rs 1.29 Lakh

In view of the festive season, Hero MotoCorp has launched a new version of the Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition in India. Dubbed as ‘Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0’, the updated bike costs Rs 1,29,738 (ex-showroom Delhi), making it Rs 5,932 more expensive than its predecessor.

Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition 2.0 – What’s New?

  • For starters, the 2022 Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition comes dressed in a new matte black color scheme, with sportier-looking bright red accents on various parts, including the monoshock, engine head, pillion footrest hangers, grab rail, and fork bottoms. It also features red graphics, a 3D brand emblem & rim stickers for added appeal.
  • The bike also receives knuckle guards and a larger belly pan for better protection.
  • In terms of features, the Xtream 160R Stealth Edition now comes with the ‘Hero Connect’ technology, featuring various connected features, such as geofencing, speed alert, topple alert, vehicle start alert, live tracking, speed alert, trip analysis, and tow away alert. Unfortunately, it misses out on turn-by-turn navigation and call/sms alerts.

Apart from the above-mentioned additions, the naked streetfighter remains the same. It will continue to be powered by the same 163cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, which delivers 15.2PS and 14Nm, and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Underpinnings (telescopic fork, 7-step preload-adjustable monoshock) and braking system of the bike too remain unchanged.

In the Indian market, the Hero Xtreme 160R locks horns with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Suzuki Gixxer, and Bajaj Pulsar N160.
