Hero Vida has introduced the V2 electric scooter range in India, with prices starting from Rs 96,000 (ex-showroom). The Vida V2 replaces the V1 range and is available in three variants: Lite, Plus and Pro. Let’s take a look at its complete price list: –

With the introduction of the Lite variant, the Vida V2 has become more affordable than the now-discontinued Vida V1. It also packs more performance and range than before.
The Hero Vida V2 gets a total of three battery packs: a single 2.2kWh removable battery for the Lite variant, two 1.72kWh removable batteries for the Plus and two 1.97kWh removable batteries for the Pro variant, claiming an IDC (Indian Driving Cycle) range of 94km, 143km and 165km, respectively.
Powering the Vida V2 is the same mid-mounted motor that makes 3.9kW continuous power (6kW of max output) and a peak torque of 25Nm.

All three variants of the Vida V2 get features like an all-LED lighting system, cruise control, follow-me-home headlamps, keyless access, electronic seat and handle lock, 2-way throttle for reverse and regen, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster with touch display, auto brightness adjustment, OTA updated support, Bluetooth connectivity, call/SMS alerts and much more.

Design-wise, the Vida V2 looks similar to the Vida V1, featuring elements like an aggressive LED headlamp cluster on the front apron surrounded by sharp extensions with turn indicators mounted on the handlebar. Furthermore, the single-sided swingarm at the rear gives the electric scooter a sporty look.
Regarding colour choices, the Vida V2 is available in paint options like Matte Abrax Orange, Glossy Sports Red, Glossy Black and Matte White, Matte Cyan, and Matte Nexus Blue. While the Matte Cyan shade is offered only with the Plus and Pro variants, the Matte Nexus Blue is exclusive to the Pro variant.
The Vida V2 will rival the likes of TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Ola S1 range and the recently unveiled Honda Activa e:.
