Offerings of Hero Mavrick 440
Now, let’s quickly delve into all the necessary details of the Hero Mavrick 440 that you should know about: –
- Powered by an all-new 440cc, 2-valve, air-oil-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC engine that produces 27.3PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 36m of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Compared to the Harley-Davidson 440X, it is 2Nm less torquey.
- Hero asserts that around 90 per cent of its torque rushes in as low as 2000rpm.
- The engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch to decrease rear-wheel skidding during aggressive downshifting and reduce clutch lever effort during gear shifts.
- Based on the steel trellis frame, the new Mavrick 440 features a 43mm telescopic fork up front and a gas-charged, preload-adjustable twin shock absorber suspension setup at the rear.
- Unlike the 18/17-inch setup on the Harley X440, the Hero bike rides on 17-inch machined alloy wheels in higher variants and spoked wheels in the base variant.
- For anchoring, the roadster features 320mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, assisted by a dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).
- Measuring 2100mm in length, the bike has a wheelbase of 1388mm, a ground clearance of 175mm and a saddle height of 803mm.
- It weighs up to 191kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 13.5 litres.
- In terms of design, the Hero Mavrick 440 boasts a round projector LED headlamp with an H-shaped LED DRL, a muscular fuel tank with a brushed metal finish, and bold lettering on the side. Its assertive tank shrouds and Y-shaped side covers highlight its robustness. The bike also features a spacious single-piece seat, clip-on handlebars for precise control, and rear-set footpegs for an aggressive riding stance.
- The other notable features of the bike include an all-LED lighting system and a digital speedometer with gear indicator, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, call/SMS alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation support. It also gets e-Sim connectivity that allows access to 35+ connected features, including live tracking.
