Citroen India has recently unveiled the Basalt Coupe SUV ahead of its anticipated launch in the coming days. The French carmaker will offer it in multiple powertrain and colour options, catering to a wider section of the audience. Citroen will offer the Basalt in seven colour options, including five monotone and two dual-tone choices.

Citroen has loaded the Basalt with a decent set of features, comprising a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, steering mounted control, automatic AC, rear AC vents, wireless smartphone charger, cruise control, and much more.
For passenger safety, the SUV gets six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear parking sensors with a reversing camera.
The Citroen Basalt is expected to have a starting price of Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom). It will compete directly with the Tata Curvv and serve as a coupe alternative to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and Honda Elevate.
