Powertrain and Underpinnings

At the heart of the Harley Davidson X440 is a 440cc, air-oil-cooled, 2-valve, E20-compliant engine that belts out 27.4PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 38Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper clutch. Harley claims that roughly 90 per cent of its torque rushes in as low as 2000rpm.

Speaking of the underpinnings, the X440 features a double downtube frame, 43mm USD front fork, gas-charged, preload-adjustable twin rear shocks, and ByBre disc brakes (320mm front, 240mm rear) with dual-channel Antilock Braking System (ABS).

Rivals

In the roadster segment, the Harley-Davidson X440 takes on the likes of Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450, and Yezdi Roadster.
