Harley-Davidson has recently surprised the market by launching the X440 at a very competitive price tag of Rs 2.29 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom). The excitement is now building more as Harley-Davidson has announced that deliveries of the X440 will kick off on October 15, 2023, and bookings for the next lot will commence the following day.
It is worth noting that the bikemaker has already announced the revised price list of the Harley-Davidson X440 for the upcoming booking window. The bike has undergone a uniform price hike of Rs 10,500 for all variants.
For those who aren’t aware, the X440 is Harley-Davidson’s smallest and most affordable bike, which is a result of Harley’s partnership with Hero MotoCorp. It comes in three variants: Danim, Vivid and S. Interestingly, the top-spec trim alone accounts for roughly 65% of the impressive 25,000+ bookings that it has already garnered.

Powering the Harley-Davidson X440 is a 440cc, 2-valve, air-cooled, E20-compliant engine, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with an assist & slipper clutch. It develops 27.4PS of max power at 6,000 rpm and 38Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm.
Based on the double downtube frame, the Harley-Davidson X440 features a 43mm upside down fork upfront and gas-charger, preload adjustable twin-shock absorbers at the rear. Regarding features, the bike gets: –
