Ford Endeavour Titanium 4×2 Variant Discontinued In India

American carmaker Ford has discontinued the base-spec Titanium 4×2 variant of the Endeavour in India, which was priced at Rs 29.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The earlier second-from-base Titanium+ 4×2 trim will now be Endeavour’s new entry-level variant. Here’s a look at the updated variant lineup: –

With the discontinuation of the Titanium variant, the prices of Ford Endeavour now starts from Rs 33.80 lakh, which is Rs 3.80 lakh higher than the older base-spec trim. 

Even as the entry-level variant for the Endeavour, the Titanium 4×2 was equipped with lots of premium features such as a bi-LED automatic headlamp with DRLs, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry with engine start/stop button, 8-way power-adjustable driver's seat with lumbar support, leather upholstery, reclining seats in 2nd & 3rd row with split-folding functions, electric boot release, 8-inch SYNC 3.0 touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, connected car technology, 6-airbags, ABS with EBD, Roll-Over Stability, ESC, hill hold assistant, rear parking sensors with camera and many more.

The Titanium+ variant also gets several additional features over the now-discontinued Titanium variant such as a panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors, electric adjustment for the front passenger's seat, semi-auto parallel park assist, a total of 7-airbags and more. On the other hand, the Sport variant gets a few cosmetic enhancements. 

Powering the Ford Endeavour is a 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine, paired with a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission. It generates 170PS of maximum power and 420Nm of peak torque. It is available with both 4×2 and 4×4 drivetrain options.

In the Indian market, the Ford Endeavour is positioned against the likes of Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, Mahindra Alturas G4, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, and Isuzu mu-X.
