Ford India has launched the Sport variant of Endeavour SUV at Rs 35.10 Lakh (ex-showroom). The Endeavour Sport is based on the top-spec Titanium+ 4×4 trim and carries a premium of Rs 65,000 over it.

How Endeavour Sport is different from its donor variant?
The Endeavour Sport gets some blacked-out elements on the exterior which comprises of a new honeycomb front grille replacing the three-slat chrome grille, black wing mirrors (ORVMs), smoked-out headlamps, black roof rails and black skid plates at both ends along with black fog lamp housing. It also gets newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, that too finished in dark shade.
The front fender vents also carry the blacked-out theme. Additionally, the special edition variant of Endeavour also features ‘Sport’ badging at the bottom of the tailgate and rear doors.
Moving to the cabin, the Sport variants carry the same black-beige theme as the standard version whereas the Australian-spec Endeavour Sport gets the all-black interior theme.
Colour Options
The Endeavour Sport is available in three colours options – Absolute Black, Diffused Silver and Diamond White.
Features
The feature list of Endeavour Sport is also same as the Titanium+ AWD variant that includes a LED headlamps, hands-free tailgate opening, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Ford Pass connectivity, 8-way power-adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, semi-autonomous parking assist, Ford's Terrain Management system, keyless entry, engine start/stop button, etc.
In terms of safety, the Endeavour Sport gets 7 airbags, front and rear parking sensors, hill launch assist, hill descent control, ESC, traction control, tyre pressure monitor, etc.
Powertrain
The Endeavour Sport is powered by the same 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine (170PS/420Nm) that comes mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission which sends the power to all-wheels. There is no option of a manual gearbox.
Rivals
The Ford Endeavour has a direct competition with Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas G4. Toyota has also introduced a special TRD variant of Fortuner SUV last month. The Endeavour Sport is Rs 1.78 lakh cheaper than the Toyota Fortuner TRD 4×4 AT variant. Soon, MG's Gloster SUV will also join the squad.
