Citroen C3 Shine Variant Now Available With Turbocharged Engine

• Following the launch of the new top-of-the-line Shine variant of Citroen C3 with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, the carmaker has now introduced it with the 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine of the hatch.
• The French carmaker has priced it at Rs 8.80 lakh for the dual-tone version, with an additional Rs 12,000 for the Vibe Pack.

• Citroen has also updated the C3 with BS6 phase-2 real driving emission norms.
• It is now also compliant with the E20 blended fuel.

More Safer Than Before

• The biggest talking point of the new Citroen C3 Shine Turbo variant is the additional safety features that it gets over its naturally aspirated counterpart. These include: –
  • Electronic stability programme
  • Hill-hold assist
  • Tyre pressure monitoring system
  • Idle-engine start/stop
• Similar to the Shine naturally aspirated version, the Shine Turbo also gets 15-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable side mirrors, front fog lamps, a rear skid plate, a rear parking camera, a rear defogger and a rear wiper & washer.
• The other notable features of the cross-hatch include a manual AC, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and a 10.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD and rear parking sensors.

With its impressive performance and dynamics, the Citroen C3 promises a delightful driving experience. The recent upgrades to the C3 Turbo have made it a nearly perfect package, albeit lacking some feel-good features. A revamp of the variant-wise feature structure would also have been a welcome addition.
