Citroen C3 Deliveries Begin Across The Nation

Citroen India has finally commenced deliveries of the C3 cross-hatch across the nation. It was launched on July 20, with introductory prices starting from Rs 5.70 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Citroen C3 comes in two major trims: Live and Feel. The latter can also be had with Vibe Pack which adds body side door molding, front fog lamps, and colored inserts on various body panels. It also gets two other pre-set customization packs along with a wide range of accessories.

Powering the Citroen C3 is either an 82PS/115Nm 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and 110PS/190Nm 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, mated to a manual transmission. It is claimed to offer a fuel efficiency of 19.8kmpl with the naturally aspirated mill and 19.4kmpl with the turbo-petrol unit. It is worth noting that the turbocharged engine is only available with the range-topping Feel variant.

In our opinion, Citroen has packed the C3 in a very odd way. While it gets features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digitized instrument cluster, and a height-adjustable driver seat, it misses out on some very basic equipment such as day/night IRVM, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and auto climate control.

In the Indian market, the Citroen C3 goes up against the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
