Citroen Basalt Prices Increased By Up To Rs 28,000

With the commencement of the new year, Citroen India has announced a price hike of up to Rs 28,000 for the Basalt coupe SUV. Here’s a look at the model-wise revised price list: –

  • The turbocharged Plus variant is the most affected by the price hike, while the prices of the naturally aspirated Plus variant remain unchanged.
  • With this price hike, the Citroen Basalt now costs between Rs 8.25 lakh and Rs 14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Regarding features, the Citroen Basalt comes loaded with amenities like LED headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, remote keyless entry, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, a wireless smartphone charger, adjustable under-thigh support for rear seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, digital instrument cluster, steering-mounted controls, six airbags, ESC, tyre pressure monitoring system, and rear parking sensors with camera.

In the mid-size SUV segment, the Citroen Basalt can be seen as an affordable alternative to the Tata Curvv, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, MG Astor, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun.
