With the latest unveiling of the Avinia and Curvv concept electric cars, Tata Motors has been on a roll lately with the EV game. While these EVs may see the sunlight in the coming years, its existing highly selling electric product and dearly beloved by the masses, the Nexon EV, is all set to receive a facelift update next week. With a launch event planned for May 11th, Tata’s planning to sweeten the deal by introducing a long-range version to the Nexon with this facelift, which will come with a 40-kWh battery pack option claiming a range of over 400km.
Mercedes Benz is all set to launch the new C-Class on May 10. Bookings for the luxury sedan are already underway. It will receive a host of cosmetic changes as well as new features, including newer sharper creases and a refreshed grille on the exterior, and the new floating 10.25 MBUX screen on the interior. The brand will offer it with petrol and diesel engines, both with 48V mild-hybrid system.
Based on the BMW 4-series, this all-electric sedan will go on sale towards the end of May 2022. It is touted to come in two variants- eDrive 40 with a single motor sporting 344PS and 430Nm of torque, and M50 xDrive with dual motors outputting 551PS and 795Nm of torque, with both options being paired with an 89.4 kWh battery with a claimed range of 500+ km.
Kia is all set to enter the EV market in India with none other than the EV6. With a funky design exterior, state-of-the-art interior with dual cockpit-style displays along with a host of advanced safety features including level 3 ADAS, it will be a feature-loaded pick of the segment. Globally, it is offered in 3 trims: a single motor, dual-motor, and a GT trim.
The full-size luxury offering from Audi recently got a facelift and is finally coming to India. With the old slated grille replaced with a mesh one, advanced lighting technology, a dual 10-inch display infotainment system with the latest MIB 3 software, and over 40 advanced driver-assisted features, the new Audi A8L is all said to throw hands with the Mercedes S-Class.
